Wisconsin School Leaders for Excellence
Wisconsin School Leaders for Excellence (WSLE), seeks to empower and give voice to traditionally-minded school board members and superintendents. We embrace parents as the primary teachers of their children and support family engagement in education. We advocate for fiscal responsibility at both the state and school board level. We encourage policies that develop self-controlled, civically educated students who are grounded in the founding principles of the United States. and we believe local school boards are the optimal governing body for setting education policy. Membership is open to like-minded current and former school board members as well as current and former superintendents.

Our Mission
Wisconsin School Leaders for Excellence (WSLE) seeks to empower school board members and superintendents who do not accept the status quo for Wisconsin’s students. We seek to connect education leaders across the state, encourage and support them in leading locally and multiply our impact through aligned advocacy and strategic collaborations with like-minded organizations.
Together, we:
- Embrace parents as the primary teachers of their children.
- Advocate for fiscal responsibility locally and in Madison.
- Implement responsible policies that develop civically educated students.
- Prioritize academic excellence by evaluating new ideas while valuing proven, traditional education methods.
